This Lynacre property began as a long, uneven yard with aging decking, overgrown planting beds, and no clear purpose. The homeowners loved the mature trees and privacy, but the space needed structure, definition, and a design that made the yard feel inviting again. Our goal was to reimagine the entire backyard and create a calm, functional outdoor retreat that feels connected to the home and the natural surroundings.

Before & After
To bring structure back to this property, we reshaped the entire yard from the ground up. The new curved retaining wall became the backbone of the design, creating separation between the lawn and garden while adding a clean, contemporary look. Feature boulders were placed throughout the beds to anchor the landscape and add a natural, timeless feel.
We created a circular stone patio at the far end of the yard, a quiet seating nook tucked under the canopy of existing trees. This area instantly became a destination within the landscape, perfect for morning coffee or winding down in the evening.
Natural stone steps were added to improve access and create a smooth transition between the deck, lawn, and patio. New plantings brought softness and four-season interest back to the landscape, and a fully regraded lawn tied the entire space together. The result is a yard that flows naturally from one area to the next, with defined spaces that feel cohesive and intentional.
